John Ruskin

      John Ruskin heavily inspired the philosophy of the arts and crafts movement. Ruskin was very open about his dislike for mercantile economy and pointed toward the union of art and labor in service to society. Ruskin was so influential to the arts and crafts movement mostly due to his style of art criticism in his writings.
